We are looking for a Manager – Indirect Purchasing to lead the sourcing, supplier management, and cost optimization of all indirect materials and services across the business. Our high-tech pizza manufacturing operations include an on-site bakery producing best-in-class crusts, robotic packaging equipment, and a 24-hour shipping and receiving facility. What you’ll do…Lead sourcing and procurement for all indirect spend categories, including MRO, facility supplies, sanitation, utilities-related services, and contracted services. Develop category strategies focused on cost reduction, supplier consolidation, service performance, and risk mitigation. Conduct RFQs, RFPs, and supplier negotiations to secure favorable pricing, service levels, and contract terms. Manage supplier contracts from award through renewal, ensuring compliance and value realization. Build strong partnerships with key suppliers and service providers, conducting performance reviews focused on cost, service, quality, safety, and responsiveness. Collaborate with operations, finance, and planning teams to track spend data, KPIs, and contract performance. Support plant initiatives and capital projects by sourcing required materials and services. Identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and spend standardization across facilities. Maintain procurement data and processes within ERP and procurement systems, ensuring accurate supplier, pricing, and contract information. Develop spend analytics and reporting to support budgeting and strategic decision-making. What you bring…5+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or indirect material purchasing. Experience negotiating supplier contracts, service agreements, and pricing structures. Strong analytical skills with experience managing spend data, KPIs, and supplier performance metrics. Experience working in ERP systems (Oracle preferred) and MRP environments. A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred. Food manufacturing or CPG experience is a plus.
