Industrial Maintenance Specialist - 2nd Shift

Description: Join our dynamic countertop fabrication team as a skilled Industrial Maintenance Specialist for 2nd Shift. If you thrive on troubleshooting, preventing equipment downtime, and working hands-on with industrial machines, we want to hear from you! Schedule 2nd Shift: Monday - Friday, 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM (Overtime may be required depending on workload) Key Responsibilities Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial equipment in countertop fabrication. Perform preventative maintenance on saws, CNC machines, polishers, routers, compressors, and dust collection systems. Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues effectively. Minimize downtime through swift, accurate troubleshooting and root-cause analysis. Adhere to safety protocols and follow lockout/tagout procedures meticulously. Document repairs, parts usage, and maintenance logs thoroughly. Collaborate closely with production teams to prioritize equipment needs. What We're Looking For Required: Minimum of 2 years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably in a manufacturing or fabrication environment. Strong mechanical troubleshooting abilities. Basic electrical knowledge including motors, sensors, relays, and VFDs. Proficiency in using hand tools, meters, and diagnostic equipment. Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision. Reliable attendance and a strong focus on safety. Preferred: Experience with CNC machinery or countertop equipment. Welding skills (MIG/TIG) and basic fabrication knowledge. Familiarity with PLC troubleshooting. Experience working with dust collection systems and air compressors. Forklift or lift certification. Physical Requirements Able to stand, walk, climb, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs. Comfortable working around loud machinery, dust collection systems, and moving parts.
