Join Our Innovative Team The Leidos FS2 Systems Engineering and Architecture team is looking for a skilled Software Developer to enhance existing code and integrate software solutions supporting the NGA. We seek a motivated candidate with a solid grasp of software development fundamentals and outstanding coding abilities across various tools and projects to fulfill our mission. Key Responsibilities Proficient in C#, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, and Shell scripting. Document new and existing functionalities within software version control repositories (GitLab) while applying DevOps principles and tools to deliver new features in an Agile environment. Engage in Agile software development activities (stand-ups, planning, Increment planning) to foster innovation and enhancement of custom applications through iterative functionality testing, utilizing Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence). Demonstrate an understanding of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and possess the ability to prototype and test relevant solutions. Collaborate with team members to assess tickets and ensure proper testing and delivery according to User Story Acceptance Criteria. Basic Qualifications Experience with unit testing, continuous integration tools, and GitLab version control systems. Self-motivated with a positive attitude and excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Background in software development or software integration projects in a service-oriented (Cloud, SOA, Web-Services) or virtualization environment. Requires a Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of experience or a Master's degree and less than 2 years of relevant experience. Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI with Polygraph post-hire. Strong organizational skills to plan and prioritize tasks, ensuring attention to detail and adherence to high standards. Effective communicator with the ability to convey ideas clearly to team members and clients in various contexts. Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with AWS development solutions. Knowledge of core AWS services and capabilities for developing and deploying core services (Lambda, EC2). Experience with REACT or other modern JavaScript frameworks. Proficiency in Python and C# development frameworks. Experience in Linux and/or Windows system administration. Knowledge of cybersecurity practices. AWS Solutions, Developer, or DevOps certifications. Experience with team collaboration tools (Jira, Confluence). Why Leidos?
