Flexible Packaging Support Associate - First Shift

We are seeking a Flexible Packaging Support Associate to join our growing team. Location: 206 Enterprise Road Delafield, WI 53018Starting Wage: $19.00/hour - $22.00/hourShift: 1stWork Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:30am - 3:30pm Typical Day in the Role: The Flexible Packaging Support Associate is responsible for tasks that include: Material HandlingMoves and/or replaces pallets or large rolls between production, staging areas, and receiving Operates powered industrial equipment, receive raw materials to place in inventory, and ship finished goods Delivers supplies to production lines and moves rolls between production and staging areas Operating and PackagingCross trains on various pouch and rollstock equipment. This includes the slitting machine, roll coater or pouch converting line Performs roll changes, return to stock, prep job jackets, and assist operators with setup and cleanup Wraps, bands, labels, and packs finished products according to customer specifications Other ResponsibilitiesPerforms general housekeeping in production and warehouse areas; sweeps and maintains organization in the production area Assists in developing and maintaining the department's Standard Operating Procedures Troubleshoots and problem-solves issues that arise Completes any required paperwork and/or documentation in an accurate manner Qualifications: High school diploma or general education degree Highly motivated with a positive attitude Proficient computer skills with the ability and desire to learn new systems and processes Strong math skills Detail-oriented with fine attention to detail Problem-solver with the ability to make independent decisions Benefits: Shift Differential Paid Time Off and Paid Holidays ICHRA, Dental, Vision, and Short Disability Insurance 401K Employer Match and Profit-Sharing Plan Paid Uniforms, PPE, and Footwear Compensation Reviews Every 6 Months To start your career with GOpak with this entry-level role, click the "Apply Now" for immediate consideration.
