HVAC Technician - South Bend

Columbus, IN Order: 2093406 Order Type : DirectHire AppleTree Staffing is on the lookout for skilled and motivated Commercial HVAC/R Technicians to join our client's team in South Bend. In this role, you will be provided with a company vehicle and gas, ensuring you can focus on what you do best without the hassle of long commutes. As a Commercial HVAC/R Technician, you will take the lead in installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, ice machines, and other hot/cold food service equipment for our valued commercial clients. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair refrigeration equipment including, but not limited to HVAC systems, walk-in coolers and freezers, ice machines, and reach-in coolers and freezers Take regular service calls across a designated region Complete service calls accurately and in a timely manner Obtain information that addresses or anticipates the equipment service needs of the venue. Select the appropriate actions to meet and exceed quality service levels for each venue. Communicates parts order(s) and repair status with customer and or branch office Audits truck stock to ensure required parts are stocked Maintains service vehicles, tools, and uniforms consistent with company guidelines Meet on-call requirements Benefits and Pay $30-40 per hour Company Vehicle and Gas Provided 100% Paid Employee Medical Insurance Dental, Vision, 401k, Disability Insurance Paid Holidays and Vacation Overtime Available Stable work hours year-round Requirements 1+ years' experience as a Commercial or Industrial Service Technician, or relevant military service EPA certification CFESA certification would be a plus Ability to work independently Ability to communicate with customers to ensure their understanding of the work being performed Strong attention to detail Good driving record and a valid IN driver's license Basic computer and iPad skills High school diploma or equivalent Capable of lifting a minimum of 75 pounds If you meet these requirements, apply or call 317-887-0747 today!
