Location: 416 Mary Lindsay Polk Drive, Franklin, TN 37067Work Schedule: Sunday: 10:00 am – 6:30 pmMonday through Thursday: 1:00 pm – 9:30 pm (with the addition of multiple clients throughout 2026 the Monday – Thursday schedule will transition to 3:30 pm – 12:00 pm later in the year) Benefits: Clinical Solutions values work-life balance and provides an amazing Employee Assistance Program. Position Overview:Clinical Solutions is a mail order pharmacy serving the corrections industry. Our headquarters facility located in Franklin, Tennessee, is a 42,000 square foot high volume pharmacy, employing over 200 team members. Currently, the company has three satellite pharmacies: Nashville, TN, Wichita, KS, and Boise, ID. The Production Manager is based at Clinical Solutions headquarters and is responsible for overseeing evening/night/Sunday fulfillment operations, supervising pharmacy production staff, and ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant prescription processing. This role manages workflow, staffing, performance, and operational efficiency while maintaining high standards of customer service and regulatory compliance.Qualifications: High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.Minimum of 3 years of experience in production management, fulfillment operations, or logistics. Experience in a pharmacy or healthcare environment is preferred but not required.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) is required.Ability to maintain reliable and consistent attendance.Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) is preferred. Essential Duties:Operational Leadership & Workflow Management Oversee workflow dashboards and production data to prioritize daily operational fulfillment.Direct workflow across all Fulfillment areas, including Bulk, Specials, SMLCA, LCA, One Touch, Packager and Shipping.Monitor end-to-end prescription processing, including filling, packaging, labeling, and shipping.Adjust staffing and resources in real time to meet turnaround times, shipment cutoffs, and customer obligations.Ensure completion of all daily production goals.Identify workflow bottlenecks and implement process improvements to increase throughput and efficiency.Develop, implement, and continuously review operational policies and procedures.Provide detailed shift summaries to leadership and ensure seamless handoff of unfinished batches or priority prescriptions.Lead or support special projects as requested. Staff Supervision & Performance Management Directly supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff.Facilitate and coordinate onboarding for new hires or transferred team members to ensure effective training and successful integration into assigned departments.Manage daily scheduling, shift assignments, cross-training, and workforce coordination.Review timecards and complete bi-weekly payroll processing.Evaluate employee performance; provide coaching, counseling, and corrective action as needed.Address attendance and performance concerns while promoting accountability and teamwork.Manage fatigue and productivity during daily operations.Communicate policy and procedures clearly and effectively to staff to include updates as they occur.Foster a culture that promotes high performance, engagement, morale, and staff retention.Support open communication between frontline staff and management. Quality, Compliance & Customer Service Supervise prescription processing to ensure accuracy, safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.Monitor and report key performance indicators (KPIs), including but not limited to: Scripts filled per hourOn-time shipment rate Report and escalate critical incidents (e.g., DEA discrepancies, temperature excursions, high-risk errors).Ensure compliance with operational standards and quality assurance requirements.Think critically and make sound decisions to maintain the highest level of customer service and operational excellence.Help handle after-hours urgent prescription needs. Systems/Technical Support & Contingency Planning Partner with IT to provide technical support and troubleshooting for fulfillment operations.Serve as superuser for sorter machine and provide basic troubleshooting for automation and machinery.Support management of system failures, outages, inclement weather responses, and facility emergencies during assigned shifts.Make real-time operational decisions in the absence of senior leadership in accordance with company policy, procedures, and accepted practice. Know when to escalate issues to higher levels of management. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Behaviors: Demonstrated experience reporting and analyzing key production metrics and operational performance data. Utilize data to drive performance improvements.Strong knowledge of distribution processes preferred in a pharmaceutical or medical supply environment is a plus.Significant knowledge of production, automation, or logistics workflows.Proven leadership ability to manage, coordinate, and motivate multiple team members across shifts.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Exceptional organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with a results-driven mindset.Demonstrated experience in process improvement and operational optimization.Ability to quickly identify issues, implement solutions, and influence change.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate.Positive, team-oriented attitude with a commitment to accountability and high performance.
