These roles are ideal for candidates with prior security, military, or law enforcement experience who are looking for stable overnight work in a professional security environment.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesMaintain a visible and professional security presence during overnight hoursPerform routine foot and mobile patrols of assigned propertiesMonitor access control points, alarms, and site conditionsRespond to security incidents, emergencies, and safety concernsComplete accurate incident reports and daily activity logs using Belfry SoftwareEnforce post orders, site policies, and standard operating proceduresCommunicate effectively with supervisors, site contacts, and fellow officersMinimum QualificationsMust be at least 18 years of ageHigh school diploma or GED requiredPrior unarmed security, military, or law enforcement experience strongly preferredExperience with patrol operations, access control, and incident reporting preferredStrong written and verbal communication skillsProfessional appearance and customer-service-oriented demeanorDependable attendance and punctualityAbility to stand and walk for extended periodsValid driver’s license and reliable transportation requiredMust successfully pass a mandatory background checkRequired in-person orientation prior to assignmentCompensation and BenefitsHourly rate varies by site and assignmentOvertime paid in accordance with applicable labor laws for hours worked over 40 per weekFull-time eligibility at 30 or more hours per weekPaid Time Off: 24 hours accrued after successful completion of the probationary periodMilitary veterans and active-duty service members receive an additional $0.25 per hourAbout KRE Security, LLCKRE Security, LLC provides professional contract security services throughout Pennsylvania.
