As an experienced Product Manager, you will work to productize our "laundry room experience" ensuring that we partner with the industry's leading OEMs in commercial laundry, IoT and payment technology to deliver the most reliable, intelligent, connected laundry amenities to serve a variety of customer segments. You will partner closely with product marketing and sales to lead a strategic shift in our go-to market in how define, structure and commercialize our offering based on market research, segmentation and customer expectations. You will report to the Chief Product & Services Officer and be part of the Product & Services Leadership Team. What You'll Be Responsible For:OEM Partnership & Technology Alignment A critical element of this role will be to serve as a primary interface to our major OEM partners aligning our market and product requirements with product and technology roadmaps that meet our customer experience, service, and commercial requirements. You will establish and manage the Strategic OEM Partnership Program, setting qualification standards and outlining framework requirements. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining Market and Product Requirement Documents (MRDs/PRDs) outlining performance, reliability, and serviceability standards, as well as platform requirements necessary to enhance customer experience and support digital service enablement. You will work closely with OEMs to align our requirements with their technology roadmaps, encompassing controls, HMI, and connectivity features. Furthermore, you will oversee OEM commitments as they are incorporated into partner development cycles. You will establish and manage OEM scorecards covering equipment reliability, parts availability, performance SLAs, and quality of technical support, drive accountability and continuous improvement through regular business reviews. New Product Introductions Own the requirements coordination process between OEM's and WASH product quality and field operations teams for all new equipment introductions, ensuring readiness across platform integration, field service, and customer experience before commercial launch. Build and maintain an NPI (New Product Introduction) process that defines product testing requirements (in-house and as part of fleet) and ensure repeatable, cross-functional alignment ahead of launch milestones. The Laundry Experience In partnership with our digital product and marketing team, you will define the experience and strategies that lead to higher usage, as well as capture higher percentage of residents choosing to use the on-site laundry amenity. Manage the roadmap for room-level intelligence, and our connected room vision that results in digitally enabled service, real-time diagnostics and usage metrics. Work with the Digital Product Owner to ensure front-end resident and property manager requirements are clearly scoped, sequenced, and delivered by engineering. Go-to-Market Model & Offerings Partner with Product Marketing and Sales to redefine our commercial model - evolving from a menu of discrete equipment and service options to a structured portfolio of managed service offerings. Lead the segmentation work that determines how consumer expectations and property-level characteristics (laundry room size, resident demographics, property tier) translate into standard offerings with clear differentiation on convenience, connectivity, and flexibility. Define the offering structure starting from entry-level equipment placements through to fully managed, connected room experiences - with pricing grounded in market research and customer insight. Work with Sales and Product Marketing to develop the commercial narrative, tools, and collateral that support consultative selling against the new offering model. Who You'll Work With This role operates across nearly every function in the business. Your most frequent collaborators will include: Head of Product (Chief Product & Services Officer) for strategic alignment, roadmap prioritization, and executive escalation on OEM commitments Technical Product Owners for payment technology, platform integration requirements, connectivity specs, and backlog prioritization IT for enterprise data requirements and system integration across the enterprise IT landscape. Ensuring that our product operations team's requirements are captured and delivered. Supply Chain and Procurement to ensure that we meet our Total Cost of Ownership Targets that include initial capital purchases, and remanufacturing requirements and targets. Field Service & Operations for understanding real-world equipment performance, diagnostic needs, and technician workflow requirements. You will also partner with them to plan and support new OEM equipment introductions into the fleet. Product Marketing & Sales for offering design, segmentation, GTM strategy, and commercial model evolution Finance for business case development on investments and service pricing OEM Partners as the primary relationship and requirements owner on an ongoing basis What You'll BringRequired Experience 7+ years in product management, with a meaningful portion in hardware-adjacent, IoT, or B2B2C environments Demonstrated experience managing external technology partnerships or vendor relationships at a strategic level Track record of translating market and customer requirements into hardware or platform specifications in partnership with technical teams Experience leading cross-functional initiatives that span product, commercial, and operational stakeholders Strong written and verbal communication skills and able to present confidently to OEM executives and internal leadership alike Highly Valued Experience Background in commercial laundry, equipment, connected hardware, or unattended retail environments. Familiarity with connectivity standards, controls and/or IoT integration Experience designing tiered product or service offerings, including pricing and packaging strategy Prior exposure to NPI processes in a manufacturing or hardware-integrated context Experience working with field service or operations teams where equipment uptime is a revenue driver How You Work You are comfortable with ambiguity and are energized by building structure where little exists today You are a natural relationship builder who earns trust with both technical and commercial stakeholders You think in systems able to hold the detail of a firmware dependency alongside the strategic logic of a service tier model You default to clarity: clear requirements, clear decisions, clear ownership
