Responsibilities: As a District Manager-In-Training (MIT), you will be part of a dynamic 20-week program that will equip you with the knowledge and experience to thrive in your role. Here are key focus areas: District Manager: Manage multiple accounts in your assigned territory according to policies and federal/state requirements. Perform job assignments as a cook, prep cook, dietary aide, and dishwasher when necessary. Training & Development: Lead and guide staff to meet Dining Services quality standards, inventory levels, food safety guidelines, and customer service expectations. Reporting: Maintain accurate records for income, expenditures, supplies, food, and personnel while assisting with payroll and employee documentation. Communication: Serve as a liaison between the building Account Manager, Administrators, and HCSG staff, effectively communicating directives. Safety: Utilize protective gear and ensure compliance with sanitation and safety procedures. Punctuality: Maintain consistent attendance and timely arrivals. Customer Experience: Represent HCSG positively while engaging with clients and staff. Resident Experience: Foster pleasant interactions with residents, staff, and facility guests. Travel: Up to 75% travel required for account/facility visits and regional initiatives. Qualifications: Positive attitude and ability to follow oral and written instructions. Bachelor's degree in management or related field preferred; High school diploma or equivalent required. Two years of experience in quantity food production/service and personnel supervision preferred. Specialized training in Dining Services management and nutrition is desirable. Ability to complete regulatory compliance courses and implement necessary changes. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills in a diverse environment. Proven skills in P&L and budgetary management. Exceptional organizational and time management skills. Valid driver's license required; must pass a Motor Vehicle Check. Basic computer skills including web-based reporting are essential. Compliance with COVID-19 Vaccination Policies is required. Ability to lift/carry 50 lbs, push/pull 50 lbs, and stand/walk for extended periods. Willingness to relocate to the assigned market. Additional Pay Information: The offered salary rates for this position are based on qualifications, experience, education, and the specific needs of the facility serviced.
