Join Girgis ENT, a leading independent otolaryngology practice focused on enhancing patients' quality of life through exceptional care. We are currently seeking a dedicated Audiology Specialist to become part of our Girgis Hearing team, providing comprehensive audiology services. This position is available for a full or part-time, highly qualified Doctor of Audiology licensed in Illinois. Diagnostic Responsibilities: Conduct diagnostic hearing evaluations for patients of all ages as ordered by our physicians. Perform comprehensive hearing assessments. Administer tympanometry and acoustic reflex tests. Utilize DPOAEs and Visual Reinforcement Audiometry in evaluations. Execute VNG testing as required. Hearing Aid Services: Fit and dispense hearing aids, including Lyric devices. Perform repair and maintenance services on hearing aids as necessary. Conduct annual follow-ups with hearing aid patients to ensure ongoing satisfaction. Provide counseling on hearing loss and preventative measures. Complete earmold impressions and real-ear measurements. Select and program assistive listening devices, custom swim plugs, and hearing protection. General Duties: Stay informed on practice management and relevant software tools. Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and practice compliance guidelines. Add patients to the schedule and accurately create patient encounters as necessary. Document encounters with appropriate diagnostic and v-codes. Complete detailed chart notes for hearing aid patients. Scan audiograms and VNG reports into patient records. Manage the electronic filing of invoices in patient charts. Participate in staff meetings and continuing education sessions as required. Fulfill additional tasks assigned by the lead clinical audiologist or Practice Manager. Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in an ENT practice setting is preferred but not required. Current Illinois Licensure is mandatory. Compensation: Competitive salary ranging from $75,000 to $120,000 per year. Location: 123 Sample Address, Suburb, IL.
