Required Skills: Valid RN license and eligibility to work in the state BLS, ACLS, and CNOR certification (CCI verification required) Minimum of 2 years of CVOR OR experience, including bypass surgeries (coronary artery bypass) Proven ability to manage both pre- and post-operative patient care Strong knowledge of EMR systems, specifically Epic Excellent communication and teamwork skills Ability to work in high-pressure environments with a keen attention to detail Nice to Have Skills: Experience with trauma cases or other surgical specialties Additional certifications in cardiac or surgical nursing Prior experience working with adult cardiac patients and trauma teams Preferred Education and Experience: Bachelor s degree in Nursing or higher At least 3 years of OR nursing experience, with substantial CVOR case involvement Prior travel or staffing agency experience is a plus but not required Other Requirements: Must reside within 100 miles of the facility; no first-time travelers considered Availability for Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM, with overnight on-call rotations (7 PM 7 AM), including every other weekend from Friday 7 PM to Monday 7 AM Ability to commit to a 13- to 26-week assignment, with a preference for full 26-week engagement Must maintain professional appearance in black scrubs This position offers an hourly pay rate of $80.40, with weekly pay via direct deposit.
