While many positions at Coinbase are remote-first, collaboration is key, and in-person engagement is required several times a year during team and company offsites. We are looking for a Lead Product Manager to spearhead critical initiatives within our HR Technology ecosystem—from evaluating innovative solutions to driving custom builds and integrating AI tools into our employee experience. This position resides within our People Success domain and reports directly to the Head of HR Technology. It is a pivotal role designed for a versatile individual capable of working across various domains rather than focusing on a single area. You will partner closely with HR, IT, and other stakeholders to design and deliver modern, user-friendly tools that enhance employee experiences and scale operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Lead a portfolio of strategic HR technology initiatives including internal tools, third-party solutions, AI capabilities, and integrations with platforms like Slack and Google Workspace. Analyze and implement new technologies, whether through in-house development or by integrating external solutions. Oversee the entire product lifecycle—from conception and prioritization to launch, adoption, and iterative improvements. Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to create solutions that provide significant business impact while ensuring an exceptional user experience. Engage with vendors and internal stakeholders to align on priorities, shape product roadmaps, and accelerate delivery efforts. Leverage emerging AI capabilities to streamline and modernize workflows within the HR ecosystem. Conduct Agile ceremonies, manage project timelines, and monitor progress against defined objectives. Establish success metrics to evaluate performance and guide ongoing enhancements across the HR Tech stack. What We Seek: Over 8 years of experience leading complex, cross-functional technology initiatives that demonstrate measurable impact. A strong history of successful buy vs. build decisions and the execution of both strategies. Experience operating across diverse HR domains and integrating tools into productivity platforms like Slack or Google Workspace. Proven capability in driving AI-forward initiatives from concept through to implementation. Confidence in influencing senior leadership, vendors, and cross-functional teams to unify around impactful solutions. Extensive hands-on experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira and Confluence. Familiarity with technologies like AI/ML, APIs, and cloud infrastructure. A strong sense of ownership, curiosity, and a fervor for applying technology to enhance workplace efficiency.
