Title- Azure Devops Engineer ( Versatile Technologist 4) Location- Englewood, CO 80112 (Remote.) Duration- 12 Months CTH for the right candidate Boeing Data Aviation Solutions is currently looking for a DevOps Engineer with Emphasis in Microsoft Azure cloud technologies in the Englewood, CO area that will work on a foundational web service solution that enables tailoring of charting information used by commercial airline customers. The work will involve creation and oversight of cloud deployment and resources with automated scripts for Java front end and back end technologies for solutions hosted on the Microsoft Azure cloud. successful candidate will understand the importance of collaboration as these positions will focus on working directly with the Senior project leaders to implement features and capabilities under Agile SAFe methodologies to meet project milestones and business objectives and commitments. Position Responsibilities: nalyzes computing requirements and consults on change release process. Leads a multi-discipline range of complex technical systems and application activities. Consults and integrates activities to install, configure and maintain multiplatform systems hardware, software and components. Consults regarding planning, developing, designing, integrating and maintaining all computer applications. Consults, integrates and coordinates activities for highly complex release planning for software and hardware across the system. Ensures systems conforms with all architectural objectives. Evaluates complex system's production readiness and supportability. Restores complex computing service operations and drafts corrective action processes. Consults on complex system problem identification and resolution. Leads activities to integrate and train others on security solutions into information systems. Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Experience in working with Microsoft Azure cloud zure concepts: Understanding of Common Azure Services, Virtual Machines, Application Gateway, Storage, Key Vault, Shared Image Gallery, Basic Networking, Data Factory, Batch utomation: Azure DevOps, Pipelines, Repos Experience in working with Coding with bash, python, ruby or other scripting languages Experience with Configuration definition and management: Chef, Ansible, DSC or other, SSL Certificate Management HA/Blue-Green/Multi-region deployment practices Experience in working with Infrastructure as code templates, tools and scripting languages CLI, Arm templates, Bicep, yaml Bash, Powershell, Java, Maven, Springboot, Tomcat Experience in working with Jenkins or Gitlab/Artifactory in CI/CD orchestration bility to envision the DevOps architecture as a holistic system Capacity to associate current work with an overall plan Compare implementation progress to overall objectives and take initiative to plan next steps Design components within the Azure DevOps ecosystem using best practices Provide design options to the DevOps team for consideration Work experience: 5 years Level 4+ Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Familiarity with Linux and Windows administration tools Strong SQL experience with queries and scripting Familiarity with apache, java and RestAPI in an application build system Experience in working with Chef, Ansible or other provisioning tools a plus Understanding of large scale, high availability systems Experience in working with DNS and protocols Familiarity with agile practices and DevOps tools Typical Education/Experience: Typical Education/Experience: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master +1 years' related work experience, 7 years' related work experience, etc.).
