Exciting Opportunity for an OR Registered Nurse!Job Description:- As an OR Registered Nurse, you will manage and organize nursing care for patients across all ages, working under the supervision of the Physician. - Be a critical part of patient care by: - Assessing the patient's physical, psychological, social, and spiritual needs. - Utilizing the nursing process to create and evaluate comprehensive care plans. - Administering medications following the "Five Rights of Medication Administration." - Provide education that empowers patients and their families based on individual learning abilities. - Assist the Operating Practitioner and CRNA, playing a crucial role in surgical settings. - Participate in: - Sterilization processes and stocking of surgical supplies. - Room preparation and cleaning of instruments. - Be flexible with call coverage, participating in rotation as needed, ensuring readiness for any surgical procedures. - Thriving in a dynamic environment, you will rotate between circulating and scrub nurse duties. - Your skills will contribute to sterilization and endoscopy procedures as part of a dedicated surgical team. - Maintain safety and comfort for patients, visitors, and colleagues alike. - Organize and prioritize daily tasks to optimize patient care and enhance team productivity. - Stay compliant with all safety policies, procedures, and infection control measures. - Constantly develop and maintain your skills, including maintaining BLS and ACLS certifications. - Engage in quality assurance initiatives within the OR nursing team, fostering a culture of excellence. - Present a professional and positive image that reflects our dedication to healthcare. - Safeguard confidentiality for all patients and staff.Requirements:- Education: Bachelor's degree (BSN), Associate's degree (ADN), or diploma from an accredited school of nursing. - Certifications: - Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Nebraska. - Current BLS/CPR certification. - Current ACLS certification.Shift Information:- Full-time, Mon-Fri, 40 hours with call rotations.Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
