Secure Transport is a proud sister company of Silver Star Protection Group, a licensed security agency based in Illinois. Overview The Sr. Director- Transportation, will be a detailed, data driven professional who will own the P&L of the division and drive ongoing efficiencies within the group to better serve our clients and allow for scalable growth both within IL and in other states. The position will manage a team of Operations Managers, Schedulers and Billing Coordinators along with a team of Fleet drivers to create an efficient transportation model that services existing clients and creates space for significant growth. The Sr Director will champion the culture of teamwork and a customer first mentality while maintaining the highest level of professionalism. The position will primarily be based in the home office in Rolling Meadows, IL but may also require travel within the state of Illinois to the firm's existing and future transfer site locations. Requirements Full P&L ownership of the division Expense Review and Management Pricing Analysis Scheduling and Routing efficiencies Ongoing Forecasting and Budget Planning Customer Relations Profitability Analysis Regular Customer Communications - to enhance relationships New Client reviews and acquisition assistance Asset Management Fleet Management Systems review Regulatory Audit responses - ISP, IDFPR Internal regulatory requirement monitoring - METRC Data Management Enhance the efficiency of data utilization for better efficiency KPI monitoring - Client level through employee level Requirements 10-15 years of Professional experience ideally within the transportation or logistics field Knowledge of the IL state cannabis regulatory framework is preferred Historical work experience within a regulated industry is a bonus Strong Data management skills Demonstrated leadership growing a team and leading effective change Compensation: Starting at $100k DOE Salary Description Starting at $100,000 DOE
