Appian Developer

Location: Charlotte, NC Introduction We are looking for an Appian UI Developer who will be responsible for software development, integration, customization, and support. The individual will work as part of an agile team, focusing on new development and collaborating with analysts and business teams to understand and deliver new requirements. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in delivering EFR daily and BCGRS-governed RDA reporting. Required Skills & Qualifications Must-have qualifications that candidates must meet to be considered: At least 5 years of hands-on experience developing and deploying end-to-end Appian BPM/UI applications Proficient in optimizing Appian Process Models to improve performance Skilled in implementing complex integrations using Appian Web APIs and Smart Services Experience with automated code releases using CI/CD pipelines in Appian Advanced knowledge of database design and optimization for large-scale applications Preferred Skills & Qualifications Nice-to-have skills but are not required: Strong collaboration and communication within agile teams Ability to break down complex requirements into actionable tasks Skilled in troubleshooting and resolving production issues independently Experience in creating user guides and supporting documentation Proactive in identifying and managing development risks Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2 Day-to-Day Responsibilities Key tasks and expectations for the role: Take requirements and break them into work units to deliver Appian solutions within the context of a larger application. Perform hands-on development on Appian BPM applications, including SAIL code, with a good understanding of Appian objects. Leverage Appian technical documentation and the Appian user community to build new prototypes as needed. Code, configure, debug, unit test, integrate, and document application enhancements. Support the development of user guides for new projects and enhancements. Analyze, debug, and revise existing application logic difficulties and update documentation as necessary. Assist database developers, the quality assurance team, and business analysts to ensure data integrity, consistency, security, and privacy. Adhere to organizational policies, standards, and best practices in application development, documentation, and maintenance in support of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) following an Agile iterative development approach.
