Implementation and Monitoring: Implement and continuously monitor the patient care plan and associated respiratory equipment. Documentation and Communication: Monitor, accurately record, and effectively communicate changes in the patient's condition to the care team. Quality and Outcomes: Evaluate respiratory practice, medication administration, and treatment effectiveness based on patient outcomes. What minimum requirements you'll needLicensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American HeartAssociation or American Red Cross accepted. Respiratory Care Practitioner credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial andProfessional Regulation obtained within 4 Months (120 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. Respiratory Therapist specializing in Registered credentialed from the National Board forRespiratory Care (NBRC) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Certification specializing in Neonatal Resuscitation credentialed from the American Academy ofPediatrics (AAP) preferred. Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Respiratory Therapist specializing in Neonatal Resuscitation credentialed from the National Boardfor Respiratory Care (NBRC) preferred. Respiratory Therapist specializing in Critical Care credentialed from the National Board forRespiratory Care (NBRC) preferred. Education: High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate'sdegree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
