Pharmacy Technician II

Title - Pharmacy Technician Location - Long Beach, CA, 90808 Duration - 6 months contract Description: Position Overview/Project Details: This position requires a California-licensed Pharmacy Technician working under the direct supervision of a pharmacist. The technician will be responsible for the packaging, preparation, and sterile compounding of intravenous medications as well as injectable medications, including chemotherapy and other biohazardous drugs. All duties must be performed in accordance with USP and standards, institutional protocols, and safety guidelines. Minimum Qualifications & Experience: At least 6 months of performing related duties as a pharmacy technician Licensed pharmacy technician license in good standing with California Board of Pharmacy Minimum Education: High School or equivalent or Post High School vocational/specialized training or Graduation from a foreign school of Pharmacy Schedule: M-F 8am-4:30pm
