Work Location: This position is HybridJob Description: We Are Seeking an experienced Programmer Analyst to provide maintenance, enhancement, and technical leadership for complex enterprise Java applications supporting critical business operations. This role is responsible for developing system improvements, ensuring application stability and data integrity, and supporting automated processes that streamline business workflows. The Programmer Analyst will serve as a technical lead, guiding development teams while participating in system design, integration, implementation, and ongoing application modernization initiatives. Responsibilities: • Design and architect enterprise Azure cloud solutions supporting Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) and Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) environments. • Lead migration of enterprise applications and systems from on-premises infrastructure to Azure cloud platforms. • Develop and implement cloud adoption strategies aligned with organizational technology goals. • Establish cloud governance, security standards, compliance controls, and operational policies. • Design and support hybrid cloud environments integrating on-premises and cloud-based systems. • Implement automation for infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, deployment, and lifecycle management. • Support migration of legacy and enterprise systems into modern cloud architectures. • Administer and maintain Azure environments to ensure performance, scalability, and reliability. • Utilize Azure DevOps tools for testing, deployment pipelines, and workload management. • Collaborate with technical and administrative teams to support cloud implementation and operations. • Provide technical leadership, architectural guidance, and best practices for cloud technologies. • Perform system testing, patching, and maintenance activities, including occasional off-hour work. • Create technical documentation and provide knowledge transfer to internal support teams. Required Skills: • 10+ years of experience developing complex enterprise systems using Java. • 10+ years of experience using Java development IDEs such as Eclipse or Spring Tool Suite (STS). • 8+ years of experience developing applications using Java JEE Struts Framework. • 8+ years of experience using Spring and Spring Boot frameworks. • 8+ years of experience using Hibernate/JPA for object-relational mapping. • 10+ years of experience programming with SQL and/or PL/SQL. • 5+ years of experience developing applications using Angular or ReactJS and modern JavaScript frameworks. • 5+ years of experience working within JBOSS Enterprise SOA environments, including workflow integration. • 5+ years of experience applying Agile methodologies and test-driven development practices. • 5+ years of experience working with CMM/CMMI Level 3 development practices.Technical Skills • Java 17+ and Object-Oriented Programming principles • Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring Batch, and Spring Security • Hibernate and JPA frameworks • RESTful and SOAP Web Services • Java Messaging Service (JMS) • React.js, Angular, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, XML, and jQuery • Redux, React Router, and component lifecycle management • Database design and development using Oracle and SQL Server • Application servers including Apache Tomcat, JBoss, WebSphere, and OpenShift • Build and dependency management tools such as Maven • Source control tools such as Git • Unit testing frameworks including JUnit • Software integration and enterprise system architecture • Creation of technical documentation and system design artifactsPreferred Skills • Experience building CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps • Knowledge of Apache Kafka, Apache Spark, or ActiveMQ • Exposure to DevOps practices and cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure • Experience integrating AI tools for code generation, refactoring, documentation, and workflow optimization • Demonstrated ability to leverage AI technologies to improve development productivity and collaborationAvailable Benefits: • Medical Benefits (Platinum level plans available) • Work from home / Hybrid / Onsite options • PTO • Holiday Pay • VTO • 401K • Charitable Match • Training reimbursement About KēSTA I.T.:Our name says it all; KēSTA I.T.
