Job Title Senior Logistician Location KEYPORT, WA 98345 US (Primary) Job Type / Status Full-Time Education High School / GED Clearance Level Required Secret Job Description JOB DESCRIPTIONMcLaughlin Research Corp is looking to hire a Senior Logistican to support the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Keyport. Logisticians integrate the spectrum of the logistics processes within the operational, acquisition and wholesale environments. They are responsible for directing the integrated logistics process, developing support policies, procedures and systems, and providing implementation guidance. The Logistician prepares and implements directives to ensure effective logistics support, and establishes and enforces standards to ensure that the assigned work force is properly trained and equipped. It is the Logistician's duty to develop, initiate, integrate and manage all logistics actions associated with life cycle management of weapon systems, subsystems and equipment. Job Requirements Requirements: - Minimum of 15 years of relevant work experience. - Thorough knowledge of SEAWOLF Class Weapon Shipping, Handling, and Launching System (WLHS). - Knowledge of VIRGINIA Class WLHS, including Vertical Launch System (VLS) and Virginia Payload Tube (VPT). - Ability to troubleshoot electromechanical systems. - Thorough knowledge on the use of Test Loads and Methods Drawings (TLMDs). - Ability to analyze data collected during system monitoring and troubleshooting. - Ability to write detailed reports on data collected and come to a sound recommendation to technical community. - Ability to brief/present findings of reports to leadership. - Ability to coordinate between multiple agencies, both Government and Contractor. - Knowledge of hydraulic systems and the best practices for troubleshooting them. - Ability to write test & operating procedures. - Knowledge of generating and editing Maintenance Requirement Cards (MRCs) and familiarity with the Planned Maintenance System Management Information System (PMSMIS) system. - Ability to read and understand system diagrams and wiring schematics (hydraulics, air, flood & drain, etc.) - Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel, is required. - Ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance.
