DETAILSSalary Range: $17 - $28 Per Hour United States Laboratory Contract Position Overview: We Are Currently Seeking A Dedicated And Knowledgeable ECG (Electrocardiogram) Technician To Join Our Healthcare Team. The ECG Technician Plays A Critical Role In The Early Detection And Monitoring Of Cardiovascular Conditions By Conducting Electrocardiograms And Other Non-Invasive Cardiac Diagnostic Tests. This Role Requires A Compassionate Approach, Excellent Technical Skills, And The Ability To Work With Patients Of All Ages And Health Conditions In A Clinical Or Hospital Setting. Responsibilities: Perform ECG (EKG) Tests On Patients As Requested By Physicians. Prepare Patients For Procedures By Explaining The Test And Positioning Them Properly. Attach Electrodes To The Patient's Body And Operate ECG Machines. Monitor And Record Patient Vitals During The Procedure When Necessary. Ensure The Quality And Accuracy Of The Test Results. Maintain And Calibrate ECG Equipment Regularly. Assist With Holter Monitor Setups And Stress Tests, If Trained. Ensure Patient Comfort, Privacy, And Safety Throughout The Procedure. Document And Maintain Accurate Patient Records In Electronic Health Systems (EHR/EMR). Follow Standard Protocols And Infection Control Procedures. Required Qualifications: High School Diploma Or Equivalent (GED). Completion Of A Certified ECG Technician Training Program From An Accredited Institution. Valid ECG/EKG Technician Certification (Preferred: NHA-CET, CCI-CCT, Or Equivalent). Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification (American Heart Association Or Equivalent). Solid Understanding Of Cardiac Anatomy, Electrophysiology, And Medical Terminology.
