Telecom Analyst

POSITION SUMMARY: The Telecom Analysts responsibility is to plan, develop, and implement the PruittHealth telecommunications infrastructure. This includes installing, configuring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all telephone systems and services, mobile devices, voicemail, PBX and Cloud communication and eFax systems. The person will also analyze and resolve telecommunications circuit issues in a timely and accurate fashion, and support user needs where required. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: 1. Procure, setup, maintain, and troubleshoot corporate iPhone 2. Design and support telecommunications infrastructure and its associated software, including PBXs, call management systems, voice mail, interactive voice response 3. Integrate these systems with enterprise LANs, WANs, wireless LANs, and Internet-based services and protocol 4. Monitor and identify capacity and performance issues for telecom traffic to ensure continued, uninterrupted operation of telecom system 5. Generate telecommunications usage and network traffic report 6. Configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot end user telecommunications, telephony, and voice/data software product 7. Perform analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of telecommunications problems for end users; recommend and implement corrective solution 8. Conduct frame relay, ISDN, and switch maintenance 9. Modify and/or rearrange telecommunications systems to accommodate additional services or change 10. Assist with Inspection, testing, and maintenance of telephone lines, circuits, trunks, and associated wiring and cabling 11. Where necessary, liaise with equipment vendors during installations, acquisition negotiations, and hardware performance issue 12. Assist with the installation and troubleshooting of telecom system Qualifications: ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: • Avaya suite (Communication Manager 5.2.1 or higher), • IP Office 500 V2, • Ring Central, • Avaya Cloud Office, • Contact Center (Ring Central RingCx and RingEx); • Apple iPhones, • MDM platforms (JAMF) PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: • Avaya and Ring Central, • JAMF experience LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors degree in information technology TRAINING SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: • Avaya products, • Ring Central: Avaya Cloud Office, RingCx, RingEx Family Makes Us Stronger.
