Maintenance Mechanic with Electrical Exp

Key Responsibilities: Perform regular and preventive maintenance on machinery, equipment, tools, and building systems. Assist in repairing woodworking machinery, feed/out feed systems, hand tools, and forklifts following diagrams, manuals, and specifications. Order supplies and parts as needed. Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance activities. Follow safety protocols and keep work areas clean and organized. Participate in safety, continuous improvement, and other team initiatives. If assigned to the Treating Department, adhere to hazardous waste and material handling procedures. Prepare reports and perform other duties as required on a daily basis. Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent. Fabrication experience is a must! Working knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, control technology, and welding. Minimum of 1 year of experience in machine repair and maintenance. Knowledge of safe equipment practices, laws, rules, and regulations. Basic math skills, computer literacy, and familiarity with calculators. Ability to follow detailed instructions and read blueprints, diagrams, and manuals. Proficiency with precision measuring tools and manual tools. Excellent communication skills in English (reading, writing, speaking). Ability to identify safety issues and pass a drug test. Willingness to work hours mandated by the company, with potential for overtime. Compensation: The pay range is $18.00 to $21.00 per hour, depending on experience. Work Hours: 6:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with hours subject to change due to production needs or machine breakdowns.
