Position Summary We are seeking a strategic, influence-driven leader to spearhead our data governance initiatives. In this role, you will bridge the gap between technical data management and organizational strategy. You will be responsible for maturing our data governance frameworks, embedding best practices across business units, and partnering with senior leadership to enable data-driven decision-making that shapes our long-term business trajectory. Key Responsibilities Strategy & Governance: Operationalize and maintain data governance frameworks, policies, and best practices to ensure high-quality, secure, and accessible data across the organization. Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a primary liaison between technical teams and business leadership. Facilitate cross-functional communication to ensure data strategies align with business goals. Change Management: Drive organizational change by influencing business and technology stakeholders to adopt standardized data processes. Decision Support: Partner with senior leaders to translate complex data challenges into actionable strategic insights, fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making. Problem Solving: Apply analytical expertise to identify data bottlenecks, resolve operational inefficiencies, and mitigate risks associated with data management. Qualifications Skills Required Data Governance Expertise: Solid understanding of data governance principles, frameworks, and operational best practices. Leadership & Influence: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to navigate complex organizational structures and build consensus among diverse stakeholders. Business Acumen: Strong business orientation with the ability to connect data initiatives directly to organizational outcomes and strategy. Analytical Ability: Proven capacity to analyze complex problems and design scalable solutions. Experience Direct Governance/Data Management: Substantial experience in Data & Analytics (D&A) governance or data management roles that required ongoing, direct engagement with business stakeholders. OR Business-to-Data Transition: Significant experience in a core business role (e.g., Finance, Operations, or Risk) that involved deep, ongoing collaboration with data and technology teams. Strategic Impact: Demonstrated track record of enabling data-driven decision-making at a senior leadership level, including presenting data insights to inform executive strategy. Education Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
