Electrophysiology Studies Experience One year of Electrophysiology Technologist required. Licenses/Certifications Current licensure as a Certified Electrophysiology Technologist in the state of Georgia AHA BLS & ACLS certification required. CCI RCES certification preferred. CCI RCIS certification preferred. Key Responsibilities Assist in Procedures: Work closely with cardiologists during invasive procedures such as electrophysiology studies, catheter ablations, and the implantation of cardiac devices (e.g., pacemakers and defibrillators). Patient Monitoring: Prepare and monitor patients during procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort while documenting vital signs and heart rhythms. Equipment Management: Operate and maintain electrophysiology lab equipment, ensuring it is properly calibrated and functioning. Data Collection: Assist in collecting and analyzing data obtained during procedures, contributing to accurate diagnoses and treatment plans. Patient Education: Communicate with patients about procedures, addressing any concerns and providing information to alleviate anxiety.
