A Radiologic Technologist skilled in X-ray imaging is needed for a travel opportunity in Hephzibah, GA, offering a chance to apply technical expertise in a dynamic healthcare environment. The technologist will perform diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring safety, accuracy, and quality while serving as a clinical instructor for imaging students. Key Responsibilities: Obtain clinical history, assess contraindications, and prepare patients for procedures with care and precision. Administer contrast media safely and follow established protocols to prevent patient discomfort or complications. Ensure accurate patient identification and compliance with marking standards; review imaging results for quality. Respond appropriately in emergencies, maintain equipment readiness, and provide support across modalities. Demonstrate sterile techniques, competency in venipuncture, and critical thinking in clinical decision-making. Maintain and operate radiographic equipment safely, troubleshoot issues, and adhere to infection control policies. Provide clear, patient-centered communication utilizing AIDET principles to reduce anxiety and promote cooperation. Complete thorough, precise documentation and comply with all departmental and hospital education requirements. Maintain high imaging standards regarding technique, calibration, and regulatory compliance. Manage department operations including restocking, patient transport, and clerical support as needed. Qualifications / Desired Experience: Minimum two years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist with strong X-ray expertise. Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT-R) required upon hire. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Proven ability to communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and healthcare teams. Ability to function independently while contributing positively to team environments. Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask under stress in fast-paced settings. Compliance with professional standards and hospital policies. Schedule: Night Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, working three 12-hour shifts per week.
