Service Support Specialist

Pay Range: $16.00 - $26.00 Wages are based on company-wide ranges and actual earnings may vary due to factors such as experience, education, geography, applicable minimum wage, unit volume(s), hours worked, and potential overtime pay. OVERVIEW OF POSITION: As a Service Support Specialist, you will ensure the complete cleanliness and organization of the restaurant both inside and outside. Your responsibilities will include bussing tables and washing dishes to maintain a welcoming environment for our guests. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintain the restaurant's landscape and exterior cleanliness. Sweep, scrub, and clean curbs, building pads, and dumpster areas. Rack, wash, and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, and utensils to meet cleanliness and efficiency standards. Clear and clean dining tables promptly. Transport trays of dishes to the dishroom and return cleaned dishware to service areas. Organize and clean the back of the house, including sweeping floors and disposing of trash. Keep the front of the house clean and organized by vacuuming, removing trash, and sanitizing restrooms and parking lots. Perform deep cleaning tasks such as scrubbing walls and cleaning walk-in coolers/freezers. Store and rotate stock as needed. Follow guidelines according to Denny's Brand Standards and internal policies. Assist other service staff as necessary. Accountabilities: Ensure dining room tables are cleaned and sanitized regularly. Maintain adequate supplies of pots, pans, dishes, glassware, ice, and utensils throughout your shift. Keep both front and back of the house clean, organized, and stocked to ensure speedy customer service. Maintain a neat and organized restaurant exterior. Qualification Standards: Ability to lift 30 lbs required. Must be flexible and reliable. Team player with a positive attitude. Must be able to bend, stoop, reach, wipe, and lift as necessary. Must possess sufficient mobility to operate within the work area. Willingness to work both indoors and outdoors. Ability to observe and ensure health and cleanliness standards are met. Compliance with any local health regulations related to food handling is a must. Minimum 6 months experience in a service environment preferred.
