Job Title: Maintenance MechanicOverview: Are you an experienced Maintenance Mechanic ready to take your career to the next level? Key Responsibilities: Conduct mechanical troubleshooting and execute repairs on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance. Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections to significantly reduce downtime and enhance operational efficiency. Diagnose mechanical issues and implement corrective actions; disassemble and reassemble equipment as necessary. Assist with the installation, alignment, and setup of new mechanical systems and equipment. Maintain precise maintenance logs and records, ensuring compliance and operational integrity. Adhere to company safety protocols, including lock-out/tag-out procedures, PPE requirements, and cleaning standards. Collaborate with other technicians, tradespeople, or contractors as directed to achieve maintenance goals. Required Skills: High school diploma or GED is required; vocational/technical training or certification is preferred. A minimum of 3+ years of mechanical or industrial maintenance experience (or equivalent). Proficient knowledge of mechanical systems, preventive maintenance practices, and troubleshooting procedures. Ability to safely operate hand and power tools and effectively read technical manuals and schematics. Strong problem-solving skills and a proven ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to foster collaboration. Nice to Have Skills: Experience with PLC systems, hydraulic systems, or electrical troubleshooting. Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) for log management. Certifications related to maintenance (e.g., HVAC, welding) would be advantageous. Preferred Education and Experience: Associate's degree or higher in a related technical field is a plus. Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting is preferred. Other Requirements: Willingness to work flexible hours, overtime, and be on-call as needed.
