Job Title: Epic Ambulatory Project Manager Department: Epic Full Time/PRN: Primarily onsite; occasional evenings/weekends; includes shift schedule when provided Job Summary The Epic Ambulatory Project Manager oversees planning, implementation, optimization, and long-term strategy for Epic Ambulatory applications including Ambulatory, Bones, Ophthalmology, MyChart, and Healthy Planet. Leads project teams, manages resources, and aligns system functionality with clinical, operational, and population health goals. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Project & Program Management: Lead Epic Ambulatory projects; ensure alignment to goals; coordinate cross-functional teams; manage risks, issues, dependencies; onboard clinics and Community Connect partners. Application Oversight: Provide strategic oversight for Ambulatory, Bones, Ophthalmology, MyChart, Healthy Planet; ensure stability, security, compliance; oversee upgrades and testing; identify optimization opportunities; monitor KPIs. Optimization & Long-Term Planning: Develop multi-year roadmap; prioritize enhancements; drive efficiency, patient engagement, and population health initiatives; support value-based care and interoperability. Team Leadership: Supervise/mentor analysts and coordinators; manage resource allocation; collaborate with HR on hiring, training, evaluations; foster innovation and team performance. Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as liaison among Epic, clinical ops, leadership, external partners; communicate updates; support training and change management. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's in IT, Healthcare Administration, Business (Master's preferred); 5+ years healthcare IT or Epic PM experience; Epic Ambulatory certification required; experience managing complex Epic projects; familiarity with outpatient/specialty workflows. Preferred Qualifications PMP or similar certification; certification in MyChart, Healthy Planet, or specialty modules; experience with Community Connect; strong understanding of billing workflows and reporting. Physical Requirements Primarily onsite at SCRMC; occasional evenings/weekends (2-4 times yearly); occasional travel; lifting up to 15 lbs; frequent interaction with staff and partners.
