Job Full Description Aircraft Painter - Aviation / Aerospace $19-$22 per hour (DOE) Weatherford, TX Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM | 40 Hours per WeekExpress Employment Professionals - Weatherford, TX is now hiring an experienced Aircraft Painter / Aviation Paint Technician for a reputable aerospace employer in the Weatherford area. If you have experience in aircraft painting, aerospace finishing, industrial spray painting, or aviation surface preparation, this is a great opportunity to work in a stable, full-time role with competitive pay. Position Summary The Aircraft Painter requires advanced knowledge of aircraft paint processes, spray gun application, surface preparation, and aerospace finishing standards. This role is responsible for professionally finishing interior and exterior aircraft surfaces using paint guns, brushes, airbrushes, and specialty tools. Essential Responsibilities Measure areas to determine paint quantities and materials per shop order Identify appropriate paint colors and finishes; mix paint as required Prepare aircraft surfaces by removing prior finishes using chemicals, grit blast, or other approved methods Mask, remove, cover, or otherwise protect non-painted components Apply paint to interior and exterior aircraft surfaces using sprayers, brushes, airbrushes, stencils, and related tools Apply specialty finishes and glazes as required Maintain compliance with chemical handling and waste disposal regulations Maintain operations in accordance with EPA, OSHA, and NESHAP regulations Maintain a clean and organized work area Complete required documentation for materials, labor time, and costs Continue expanding paint department capabilities to meet company needs Perform other job-related duties as assigned by supervisor or management Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Some painting experience Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to follow instructions and produce consistent, quality work Preferred Qualifications 5+ years of aircraft painting experience preferred Work Environment Industrial / aerospace manufacturing setting Exposure to fumes, airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration Noise level may be loud Physical Requirements Frequent standing, walking, reaching, and use of hands Occasional climbing, balancing, kneeling, crouching, or crawling Frequently lift up to 50 pounds Must meet close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception requirements About Express Employment Professionals - Weatherford Express Employment Professionals is a leading staffing provider connecting skilled professionals with top employers in Weatherford, TX and surrounding Parker County communities.
