As a Travel RN in Telemetry, you will provide expert care to a diverse patient population, including individuals with cardiac conditions such as MI, CHF, and arrhythmias. Required Skills: Valid RN license in the state of employment or a compact license. BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA). ACLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA). Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in telemetry or cardiac care. Strong assessment, clinical judgment, and documentation skills. Ability to independently manage routine and complex patient needs. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Nice to Have Skills: Epic electronic medical record experience. Previous travel nursing experience. Additional certifications in cardiac care or related specialties. Experience managing high-acuity patient populations. Preferred Education and Experience: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) strongly preferred. One or more years of applicable clinical experience in telemetry or cardiac units. Proven ability to adapt quickly to new environments and multidisciplinary teams. Other Requirements: Must attend hospital orientation within the first 30 days of assignment. Flexibility to float to related units when necessary. Willingness to work 7AM - 7PM shifts, every other weekend. Travel and licensure reimbursements applicable where permitted. Possibility of transitioning from temporary to permanent employment.
