The nurse will provide care to patients in a progressive care unit. The patient ratio is 1:5-6. Two weekend shifts every other weekend are required. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience and be comfortable caring for adult patients. Required certifications include ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS. The hospital has a daily census of approximately 27 patients. The unit supports interdisciplinary collaboration. Patient diagnoses primarily include telemetry and stroke. Experience with EPIC charting is preferred. Candidates should be prepared to float within service lines as needed. References are preferred at the time of application.
