Java Full Stack Developer

Akkodis is seeking a Java Full Stack Developer for a Contract with a client in Alpharetta, GA. This role delivers endtoend development support across Java and React applications within service-oriented architecture . Rate Range: $49/hour to $53/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Java Full Stack Developer job responsibilities include: Collaborate with system architects, team leads, and developers to design, develop, and deploy scalable technical solutions within a serviceoriented architecture. Analyze complex business and technical requirements to design, develop, and troubleshoot databasedriven applications using Java, Spring, and SQL. Prepare and document technical designs, subsystem specifications, effort estimates, and integration plans to ensure alignment with architectural and development standards. Develop new application features, perform maintenance fixes, and enhance existing components to meet evolving business needs across Java and React platforms. Create, execute, and refine unit and integration tests, ensuring code quality and successful testing prior to production deployment. Support crossfunctional teams by troubleshooting production, QA, and environment issues, while mentoring junior developers and documenting system resolutions. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience. 8-10+ years in software development with strong hands-on Java/Spring experience and exposure to React in enterprise environments. Proven expertise in Java, Spring (JDBC/JPA/Hibernate), REST API design, data structures & algorithms, SQL/relational databases, and Agile/Scrum. Experience building and supporting production systems, including unit/integration testing, troubleshooting across QA/Prod environments, and familiarity with UNIX/Linux, IntelliJ, and messaging (e.g., Kafka/Message Queues).
