Facilities CoordinatorGrand Prairie, TXPay: $25/hr minimum | Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PMAdecco is seeking a Facilities Coordinator for a client in Grand Prairie, TX. This role goes beyond basic coordination. You’ll be the hands‑on support person who keeps the facility running smoothly each day. That includes routine maintenance, minor repairs, vendor coordination, safety compliance, and supporting both office and field operations. If you're a “fix‑it” type who enjoys variety, problem‑solving, and staying active, this is a strong fit.This position also plays an important role in maintaining OSHA and FAA compliance, supporting safety initiatives, and helping prepare the facility for future business growth. Confidentiality, professionalism, and a proactive approach to facilities management are essential.What You’ll DoHands‑On Maintenance & Repairs• Perform general handyman duties including basic plumbing fixes, painting, patching walls, door repairs, shelving installation, and minor carpentry• Complete light electrical tasks such as replacing switches, outlets, ballasts, and light fixtures• Troubleshoot basic issues with HVAC, equipment, and building systems• Conduct routine facility walk‑throughs to identify maintenance needs or safety hazardsFacility Operations• Assist in organizing resources for building maintenance and equipment repair• Support workspace moves, furniture assembly, and general office setup• Manage service calls, coordinate vendor visits, and monitor contractor performance• Help maintain inventory of tools, supplies, and materialsCompliance & Safety• Ensure building operations align with OSHA and FAA standards (in partnership with HR)• Support safety protocols, preventative maintenance, and documentation• Participate in emergency response or after‑hours facility situations (on‑call required)Planning & Administration• Formulate plans and procedures for building operations and maintenance• Track maintenance requests and follow up to ensure completion• Assist with preparing and managing budgets for facilities and building projects• Handle both physical and digital recordkeeping with confidentialityRequirements• 2–5 years of facilities, maintenance, or related experience (or equivalent combination of education/experience)• Strong handyman skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve common building issues• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project)• Working knowledge of OSHA and FAA building safety standards• Strong communication skills and comfort working with internal teams and external vendors• Ability to manage IT equipment and documentation effectively• Experience identifying and implementing improvements to facility operationsAdditional Details• Steel-toe footwear required• Exempt under FLSA• On‑call duty required for facility emergenciesInterested?If this role sounds like a match, please apply.
