Location: Buffalo, NYJob Type: Full-Time, Permanent Job Overview: We are seeking a Senior Endpoint Engineer to lead the design, deployment, and management of endpoint solutions across the enterprise. This role requires expertise in Windows OS deployment, Intune, SCCM, automation (PowerShell, Python), and security compliance. You will collaborate with Cybersecurity, Network, and Desktop Support teams to enhance endpoint performance, security, and user experience. Key Responsibilities: OS Deployment & Management: Lead Windows OS configuration, deployment, and maintenance to ensure performance and security. Hardware & Driver Updates: Implement solutions for seamless hardware and driver updates, reducing device-related issues. Web Browser Security: Securely configure and manage enterprise web browsers (Chrome, Edge) across endpoints. Endpoint Management: Deploy and maintain Microsoft Intune and SCCM for enterprise-level device lifecycle management. Automation & Scripting: Utilize PowerShell, Python, and Bash to automate endpoint management tasks, improving efficiency. Security & Compliance: Collaborate with security teams to enforce endpoint hardening, encryption, and monitoring best practices. Performance Monitoring: Continuously monitor endpoint health and performance, ensuring optimal user experience. Cross-Team Collaboration: Work with Cybersecurity, Networking, and Desktop Support to develop and deploy solutions. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive technical documentation for configurations, processes, and troubleshooting. Required Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or 8+ years of IT experience in lieu of a degree. Experience: 5+ years in endpoint engineering, systems administration, or a similar role. Technical Skills: Expertise in Microsoft Intune and SCCM for endpoint lifecycle management. Strong experience in Windows/macOS deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting. Proficiency in hardware and driver management for enterprise environments. Familiarity with browser security best practices (Chrome, Edge) on managed endpoints. Advanced scripting skills using PowerShell, Python, or Bash for task automation.
