Commercial Refrigeration Foreman

Snapshot / Role Overview We're seeking a Commercial Refrigeration Foreman in Tampa, FL to lead field crews, coordinate installations, and ensure quality execution of commercial refrigeration projects. Impact • Drive project success by managing daily field operations and coordinating trade activities • Ensure safety excellence and quality standards across all refrigeration installations • Develop skilled technicians through hands-on training and mentorship • Strengthen client relationships through professional communication and problem-solving Responsibilities • Supervise refrigeration installation crews and coordinate daily work activities • Review project drawings, specifications, and equipment schedules with team members • Schedule manpower, materials, and equipment to meet project milestones • Perform quality control inspections and verify installations meet code requirements • Troubleshoot installation challenges and implement effective solutions in the field • Coordinate with general contractors, other trades, and project management • Enforce safety policies and conduct toolbox talks on jobsite hazards • Train and mentor installers on technical skills and best practices • Complete daily reports, timesheets, and project documentation • Participate in project planning meetings and provide field input Requirements Must-Haves • 7+ years of commercial refrigeration installation experience with proven leadership ability • EPA Universal certification required • Strong knowledge of refrigeration systems, electrical controls, and piping practices • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and specifications • Excellent communication and team coordination skills • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Nice-to-Haves • OSHA 30 certification • Experience with large-scale supermarket or industrial refrigeration projects • Familiarity with project management software and scheduling tools • Manufacturer-specific certifications or factory training Call to Action If you're ready to advance your career in mechanical construction, apply today or connect with us to learn more.
