UX / UI Engineer

Summary: Hybrid position (flexible on days onsite and remote) Work schedule: M-F, 8-5 with some flexibility Travel: Some, to conferences or traveling to lab onsite Location: Melbourne, FL Duration: 12 Months Responsibilities: Design and develop user-friendly interfaces for applications. Conduct user research and testing to improve designs. Collaborate with teams to implement UI/UX solutions. Document design activities and prepare detailed reports. Ensure adherence to UI/UX standards and best practices. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Design, IT, or related field. Experience in UI/UX design or related roles. Strong creative and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of design tools and methodologies. Required Skills: Angular Python HTML, CSS, TypeScript/React or Angular (UI) Deep experience with Kubernetes/K3s, Kafka/NATS, MQTT, gRPC, PulsarInfluxDB/TimescaleDB, and observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana). Preferred Skills: Go, Rust, Python (backend/edge)
