Job Description

Minimum Qualifications of Candidate The Customer is seeking an IT systems administrator with experience managing the operations of computer systems related to operating systems, servers, and end-user workstations. This administrator must demonstrate an understanding of how software behaves in order to deploy, configure, and troubleshoot systems. (Experience and qualifications must be clearly stated on the resume and verifiable via reference checks): Required: 4+ years' system/server/endpoint setup and configuration experience. 4+ years' infrastructure/network environments experience with Cisco Routers. 1+ years' experience with IT phone support desk experience. Identifies opportunities and recommends solutions for improving the overall system/network health by assessing overall effectiveness and efficiency. Demonstrated experience in the following system/networking concepts: Active Directory Services Operating Systems Internet Protocols Domain Controller Exchange Server Group Policy Experience working with firewall configuration and troubleshooting. Experience with different network types (i.e. LAN, WAN) Experience configuring and maintaining phone systems, routers, switches, and hubs for network systems. Preferred: Experience with Windows Server 2012 - 2019, Windows 10, printers and other peripherals Experience with Dell Encryption and Carbon Back Experience with Red Cloak Administration Experience working in state government. Experience with Cloud Services Experience with Office 365 AD Deliverables/Tasks The System Administrator key deliverables include, but are not limited to the following: Builds and maintains web, virtual, and client server environments for the enterprise. Provide technical assistance in troubleshooting/solving problems for network, systems and end users. Troubleshoots and resolves any IT service issues related to operating systems and servers. Trains the technical support staff on solving common systems-related problems. Leverages optimization techniques to maximize the efficiency of all computers systems. Provide on-call support to the Customer with all IT related matters including server issues, network issues, security issues, and staff shortages. Develop strategies and direction for network systems solutions using current and emerging technologies. Configure and maintain phone systems, routers, switches and hubs for the network systems (including wireless). Provide technical writing for the documentation of any system and technical efforts and best practices. Required Skills : Systems Analysis Additional Skills : Systems Administrator
