A specialized opportunity is available for a Pediatric Cath Lab Radiologic Technologist at a premier Level I Trauma and teaching hospital in Goose Creek, SC. This contract position offers a dynamic work environment within a pediatric-focused cath lab, supporting critical procedures including pediatric and adult transplant biopsies, balloon angioplasty, stent placements, valve placements, and interventional radiology cases, especially pediatric patients. Responsibilities include supporting physicians during complex cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures, maintaining strict adherence to radiation safety protocols with agency-provided badges, and providing high-quality imaging services using advanced EPIC charting systems. The role requires flexibility to cover 8-10 on-call shifts per month, including weekends, with a standard day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Preferred candidates will have experience in Level I Trauma Pediatric Cath Lab and EP procedures. A minimum of one year of experience is required, though first-time cath lab techs with strong foundational skills are encouraged to apply. National certifications required include PALS, BLS, ACLS (AHA accepted only), and radiation safety certification. Credentials such as CCI with RCIS/RCES are preferred, but ARRT(R) with SCRQSA(R) certification is also acceptable.
