Job DescriptionLocum - Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist - Anesthesia Charlotte, MI Are you an experienced CRNA seeking flexible, impactful work opportunities? Join our team as a Locum CRNA and provide essential anesthesia services in a dynamic surgical setting. This role offers the chance to work independently in a busy hospital environment, supporting patient care across a diverse demographic from pediatric to geriatric populations. Your expertise will directly contribute to high-quality perioperative care in a facility managing approximately 13,000 annual cases. Overview We are looking for a dedicated Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to fill sporadic PRN coverage, with potential for future assignments. You will work under the supervision of an anesthesiologist in a Level 4 trauma center that features a fully staffed OR suite, including 2 operating rooms and 1 endo suite. The facility performs around 20 surgical cases daily, including endoscopic procedures, across a variety of specialties. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently, managing a broad patient demographic, and maintaining high standards of safety and efficacy in anesthesia delivery. Required Skills Valid RN license and certification as a CRNA Minimum of 2 years of anesthesia experience in a hospital setting Excellent clinical judgment and decision-making skills Ability to work independently and adapt to a fast-paced environment Proficient in using Epic EMR system Strong communication and teamwork skills Comfortable managing a wide patient age range from pediatrics to geriatrics Nice to Have Skills Prior experience in trauma or Level 4 trauma centers Advanced certifications or specialized training in anesthesia techniques Bilingual abilities or additional language proficiency Experience working in endoscopic surgical procedures Preferred Education and Experience Master's or Doctoral degree in Nurse Anesthesia At least 2-4 years of post-graduate anesthesia practice in a hospital setting Current ACLS and BLS certifications Other Requirements Must complete Epic EMR training prior to start date (waivers available for extensive experience) Orientation is required prior to beginning assignments Must pass a physical examination and 5-panel drug screening within 30 days of start (reimbursements not provided) Will accept candidates needing licensing in MI This opportunity provides a competitive hourly pay rate of $187.60, with weekly pay via direct deposit, comprehensive medical benefits, paid sick leave, licensure, certification, travel reimbursements where applicable, and a robust referral bonus program.
