Experience with all age groups. Previous travel experience preferred. Description: Block scheduling is not available for this position. Local travelers will not be considered for this role. Position patients on the examining table and adjust immobilization devices as needed to obtain optimum views of the specified area of the body requested by the physician. Must be capable of completing all routine diagnostic procedures. Move radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment into specified positions and adjust equipment controls to set exposure factors such as time and distance. Operate film processing equipment. Operate mobile radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment in various settings. Practice radiation protection techniques to minimize exposure to patients and staff. Ability to prioritize and organize daily workflow is essential. Excellent oral and written communication skills, along with strong interpersonal skills, are required. Basic computer skills are necessary. Dress code is hospital blue scrubs, business casual with a lab coat, or basic plain personal scrubs. Closed-toe shoes are required, such as sneakers or clogs. Hair must be worn pulled back if longer than shoulder length, and no dangling earrings are allowed.
