Job Overview: Search Solution Group is seeking a Contract IT Programmer Analyst on behalf of our client, a not-for-profit healthcare organization in Houston, TX. This contract role is essential for maintaining, optimizing, and supporting the organization's Infor Lawson applications and related IT systems. The IT Programmer Analyst ensures that finance, supply chain, and payroll systems operate efficiently, providing technical solutions to meet organizational needs and support business operations. Key Responsibilities: Provide application and technical support for Infor Lawson applications using Lawson 4GL, COBOL, SQL, and ProcessFlow Create, maintain, and optimize Lawson batch jobs, programs, and scripts for automating business processes across Finance, Supply Chain, and Payroll modules Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot Lawson IPA (Infor Process Automation) workflows, notifications, and integrations for cross-system communication Conduct moderate to complex analysis of assigned areas, monitoring resources, evaluating processes, and presenting historical trends to support departmental effectiveness Assist with migrations from Infor Lawson to Oracle Fusion (preferred) Support non-core S3 Infor Lawson applications (e.g., MSCM, XM, LBI) as needed Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve system issues and optimize processes Maintain documentation for workflows, scripts, batch jobs, and system enhancements Requirements Include: Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience Experience: 5+ years of experience supporting Infor Lawson applications and IT processes in Finance, Supply Chain, and Payroll Previous experience with Lawson IPA workflows, notifications, integrations, and application support Experience creating and maintaining Lawson batch jobs and scripts Experience with non-core S3 Infor Lawson apps (preferred) Migration experience from Infor Lawson to Oracle Fusion is a plus Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Proficiency with Lawson 4GL, COBOL, SQL, and ProcessFlow Ability to troubleshoot complex system issues across multiple modules Effective communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management abilities Certifications: None required; relevant IT or Lawson certifications are a plus Knowledge: Functional knowledge of Finance, Supply Chain, and Payroll business processes Knowledge of Lawson Design Studio forms, UI customizations, and JavaScript modifications (preferred) Understanding of process automation and system integration principles Key Competencies: Technical expertise in ERP system support and programming Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Strong collaboration and team-oriented mindset Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in all system and process work Adaptability to work on non-Lawson applications when needed How to Apply: To apply for this position, please click the "Apply" button at the top right of your screen.
