The Opportunity: We are seeking a driven, client-focused Associate Internal Wholesaler to join Hamilton Lane's Private Wealth Solutions team. In this role, you will partner closely with external wholesalers to drive adoption of Hamilton Lane's private markets solutions across financial advisors in your assigned territory. You will help deepen relationships with wealth management firms by providing differentiated market insights, portfolio construction support, and product expertise that align with advisors' and their clients' objectives. You will work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, engaging daily with financial advisors, home-office partners and internal stakeholders to support fundraising goals and deliver an exceptional client experience Your responsibilities will be to: Partner with external wholesalers to execute the sales strategy for your territory, driving advisor engagement and asset growth across key intermediary channels (wirehouses, independent broker-dealers, RIAs, private banks). Conduct proactive outbound calls and emails to financial advisors to introduce Hamilton Lane's private markets offerings, uncover opportunities, qualify prospects and schedule meetings, webinars and events. Deliver clear and compelling product, market and portfolio construction messaging over the phone and via web meetings, tailoring content to advisor needs and client profiles. Maintain a disciplined territory management approach, including call blocks, campaign execution, follow-up cadences and activity tracking. Manage and update the CRM with all advisor interactions, pipeline opportunities, next steps and production, ensuring data accuracy and transparency for the broader team. Coordinate closely with Marketing and the external wholesaling team on campaigns, roadshows, conferences and virtual events to maximize advisor reach and conversion. Support enterprise and platform-level initiatives by helping translate new platform placements, product launches and campaigns into targeted advisor outreach and production in your territory. Develop and maintain a strong command of Hamilton Lane's private markets strategies, vehicle types and structures, as well as competitive and market trends. Prepare and customize sales materials, proposals and follow-up communications for advisors, including portfolio analyses and case studies, in collaboration with senior sales and product teams. Provide a high level of responsiveness and service to advisors, ensuring timely follow-up on requests, proposals, investment questions and operational items. Collaborate with teammates across Private Wealth Sales, National Accounts, Product, and Operations to ensure a seamless advisor and client experience. Model a growth mindset and strong work ethic, actively seeking feedback and continuously improving sales skills, product knowledge and territory execution. Your background will include: Must haves: 3-6+ years of experience in financial services, preferably in internal wholesaling, intermediary distribution, sales support or advisor-facing roles. Series 7 and 63 (or Series 6 and 63) in good standing; additional designations (e.g., 65/66, CAIA, CFA) are a plus. Demonstrated success in a phone-based sales or relationship management role with measurable activity and production expectations. Strong understanding of investment products and capital markets; familiarity with alternative investments and/or private markets is strongly preferred. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex investment concepts into clear, actionable conversations for financial advisors. Highly organized with strong attention to detail, able to manage a high volume of activities, follow-ups and competing priorities across a large territory. Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team-based sales environment while also taking ownership of individual goals and responsibilities. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Preferred: Prior experience supporting or covering financial advisors within private wealth channels (wirehouse, RIA, independent broker-dealer, private bank or family office). Experience working in or with a leading asset manager, alternatives platform or wealth management firm. Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and comfort using technology and data to drive territory insights, targeting and follow-up. Demonstrated interest in private markets and in building a long-term career in distribution and client solutions. Travel Requirements: Periodic travel (approximately 10-20%) for key client meetings, conferences, sales meetings and training events, as business needs require.
