This position focuses on preparing and assisting in cardiac catheterization procedures within a high-functioning Cath Lab environment. The successful candidate will contribute to patient care by performing hemodynamic monitoring, control room duties, and correlating invasive and noninvasive test results to support clinical decision-making. Key Responsibilities: Prepare the Cath Lab for cardiac catheterization procedures following established protocols, including equipment setup and supply management. Perform hemodynamic and control duties with thorough knowledge of cardiac catheterization equipment. Monitor and conduct patient stress tests, maintaining high standards of radiation safety to protect patients and staff. Analyze invasive and noninvasive test results, identifying needs for interventions and communicating critical information to physicians. Maintain strict sterile technique throughout procedures and transport patients as necessary. Fulfill 24-hour on-call duties every 3 to 4 weekends and 1 to 2 weekdays, with shift options including early or late day starts in a 5x8 schedule. Preferred Qualifications: Certified Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS), Certified Radiologic Executive Specialist (RCES), or Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT). Current North Dakota Medical Imaging License or ability to obtain within 12 months. Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications. Familiarity with the North Dakota Imaging and Radiation Therapy Board requirements.
