About This Job Axos is seeking a commercially driven, consulting-minded leader to scale the Growth Strategy & Insights function for our Consumer Bank. This role is built for a strategist who blends structured problem solving with business intuition-someone who turns ambiguous questions into clear recommendations, aligns stakeholders around action, and drives measurable, sustained growth. As the senior leader for Growth Strategy & Insights, you will shape the growth agenda across product, marketing, risk, operations, and customer experience. You will build the frameworks, operating rhythms, and executive narratives that clarify priorities, accelerate decisions, and translate insights into P&L-level impact. Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership & Enterprise Influence Define and own the Consumer Bank Growth Insights strategy, aligning analytics and growth to P&L performance Bring a consultant's approach-hypothesis-driven problem solving, structured framing, and crisp communication-to enterprise-level decisions Develop executive-ready storylines and narrative frameworks that elevate insight, surface strategic choices, and drive alignment across cross-functional leaders Performance & Growth Identify and prioritize the highest-value growth levers across acquisition, activation, engagement, cross-sell, retention, and risk-adjusted unit economics Lead cross-functional teams to translate insights into roadmaps-turning recommendations into launched features, optimized funnels, and more profitable customer journeys Benchmark Axos against market, competitor, and category dynamics, turning signals into growth strategies and executive-level recommendations Insight Generation & Decision Excellence Stand up decision frameworks, dashboards, and scorecards that track client behavior, funnel conversion, pricing, and unit economics-prioritizing actionable drivers over raw metrics Lead opportunity sizing and business casing for new products, pricing changes, and lifecycle initiatives Innovation (AI/ML as a lever, not the job) Champion practical AI/ML use cases (propensity, churn, LTV, next-best-action), evaluate build-vs-buy, and drive responsible adoption with measurable ROI Stay current on analytics tooling; ensure we use fit-for-purpose solutions without over-engineering Leadership, Talent & Culture Mentor and develop a high-performing analytics team; raise the bar on business acumen, communication, and analytical rigor Build a culture of clarity, speed, and outcomes-where insights are translated to decisions and decisions to results Qualifications: Bachelor's degree; advanced degree a plus 5+ years in strategy, analytics, or growth leadership - ideally in consumer banking or fintech Proven success influencing senior stakeholders and leading cross-functional initiatives from problem framing to business impact Strong storytelling and executive communication; able to simplify the complex and build alignment across diverse stakeholders Technical fluency in setting direction (not a hands-on build role): comfort with SQL backed analytics, modern BI (e.g., Power BI/Tableau), and cloud data concepts Axos Employee Benefits May Include: Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance Paid Sick Leave, 3 weeks' Vacation, and Holidays (about 11 a year) HSA or FSA account and other voluntary benefits 401(k) Retirement Saving Plan with Employer Match Program and 529 Savings Plan Employee Mortgage Loan Program and free access to an Axos Bank Account with Self-Directed Trading About Axos Born digital-first, Axos delivers financial tools and services that allow individuals, small businesses, and companies to access and manage their money how, when, and where they want.
