Our client, a leading organization in the facilities management sector, is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Facilities Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the maintenance support team supporting building operations and ensuring a safe, secure, and well-maintained environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently, which will align successfully in the organization.Job Title: Facilities Maintenance TechnicianLocation: Asheville, OHPay: $34/hr.Shift: Monday to Friday. 1st and 2nd shift available.What's the Job? Monitor the facility to ensure safety, security, and proper maintenance Troubleshoot power, HVAC systems, controls, and mechanical systems Perform general and preventative maintenance, including carpentry, plumbing, and vendor management Replace lighting bulbs and ballasts as needed Assist with moving office furniture, machinery, equipment, and materials as requested What's Needed? High school diploma or GED required. 5-7 years of relevant experience in facilities maintenance. Basic knowledge of machines and tools, including their design, use, repair, and maintenance. Maintain general & preventative maintenance, carpentry, plumbing systems, and vendor management. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. What's in it for me?
