Position: Revenue Manager Property: ___________________Reports to: VP of Sales and Area General Manager Direct Reports: N/A Job Overview The Revenue Manager is responsible for optimizing revenue and profitability through strategic pricing, inventory management, mix of sales optimization, and market analysis. This role collaborates closely with hotel leadership, sales, and marketing teams to maximize revenue across all revenue streams, including rooms, food & beverage, and ancillary services. Duties and Responsibilities Your responsibilities are diverse in nature and include, but are not limited to: Revenue Optimization: Implement pricing strategies to maximize revenue and profitability based on market demand, competitive landscape, and historical data. Forecasting and Analysis: Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly forecasting to identify trends and adjust strategies accordingly. Inventory and Distribution Management: Oversee room inventory and distribution across all booking channels to ensure optimal occupancy and revenue generation. Market and Competitor Analysis: Monitor competitor pricing, market conditions, and demand fluctuations to make informed pricing decisions. Collaboration and Strategy Development: Work closely with VP Revenue Management, GM, and DOS to align revenue strategies with business goals. System Management: Utilize revenue management systems, property management systems, and distribution platforms to enhance efficiency and performance. Analyze night audit packets on a daily basis. Performance Reporting: Provide regular reports and insights on key revenue metrics, performance trends, and opportunities for growth Channel Optimization: Evaluate and optimize booking channels to ensure profitability while minimizing commission costs Group and Corporate Pricing: Assist in evaluating and setting pricing strategies for group bookings, corporate accounts, and special promotions. Strategic Optimization in seasonal market with high demand special events. Maintain a dynamic strategy aligning with the seasonal market and ability to flex with special events. Qualifications and Requirements Bachelor's degree / higher education qualification / equivalent in marketing or related field, and two or more years' experience in a hotel revenue management setting. Strong knowledge of local market required. Prior experience with Hilton PEP, Gro, HRH and R&I preferred. Must speak local language(s). Other languages preferred. This position will also require access to a personal telephone in case of emergency or offsite need and access to internet for email communication.
