An opportunity is available for a Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician to join a specialized sterile compounding pharmacy focused on wellness medications. This position supports a dedicated team comprised of two pharmacists and two technicians, managing a volume of approximately 2,000 vials weekly. The role offers a contract-to-hire arrangement with the potential for permanent placement. Location: Spring, TX Schedule: Full-time Typically four 10-hour shifts per week (4x10s) Shifts may vary depending on compounding volume Hours of operation: Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Responsibilities: Prepare sterile compounded medications in a clean room environment Adhere to strict sterile compounding protocols and clean room discipline Collaborate effectively with pharmacists and fellow technicians Maintain accuracy and quality control throughout all compounding processes Ensure timely preparation to meet patient and pharmacy needs Qualifications: Valid Pharmacy Technician license and PTCB certification required Sterile compounding certification and hands-on experience in sterile compounding essential Strong knowledge of clean room procedures and compliance standards Demonstrated punctuality and reliability This role is well suited for a detail-oriented technician committed to upholding the highest standards in sterile medication preparation.
