Registered Nurse- Telemetry (PRN)Location: Jeffersonville, IN, 47130 Employment Type: PRN Pay Rate: $40 - $45/hr; (Negotiable based on experience) Shift: 06:45 PM - 07:15 AM Position Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Telemetry Unit on a PRN basis. The RN will provide high-quality patient care, monitor cardiac rhythms, and respond promptly to changes in patient conditions. This position requires strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced hospital environment. Key Responsibilities: Provide direct and indirect patient care in the telemetry unit in accordance with established hospital policies and procedures. Monitor, interpret, and document cardiac rhythms and patient vital signs accurately. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing interventions to achieve optimal patient outcomes. Educate patients and families about health management and post-discharge care. Respond rapidly and appropriately to emergency situations. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR). Adhere to infection control, safety, and quality standards. Required Qualifications: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana. Minimum of 1-2 years nursing experience. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Ability to interpret cardiac rhythms and telemetry monitoring. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
