Cath Lab Technologist (Day Shift)

Job Title: Cath Lab TechnologistLocation: Newton, NJ 07860 Payrate: $70 - $75/hr Schedule: Monday to Friday 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM Four 10-hour shifts per week Job Summary: The Cath Lab Technologist is responsible for providing technical support and patient care during cardiac catheterization and other interventional procedures. This role involves preparation, assistance during procedures, and post-procedure care. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and set up for cardiac catheterizations, PCI (including STEMI), peripheral vascular procedures, pacemaker insertions, interventional radiology procedures, and more. Monitor, document, and calculate hemodynamic data accurately. Assist physicians during all phases of the procedure: pre-, intra-, and post-operative. Assess and manage vascular access sites, and notify physicians of any concerns. Adhere to on-call protocols and be available as required. Prepare patients prior to procedures, ensuring all necessary steps are followed for safety and efficiency. Required Skills & Qualifications: Licensed Radiologic Technologist RCIS certification preferred BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required IABP (Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump) experience required Prior experience working in a Cardiac Cath Lab is required Education Requirements: High School Diploma or GED required Ready to join us?
